Climate change – the tipping point. It’s much, much later than you think.
This has to be the best explanation I’ve seen of what is happening to our climate and why we need to be worried NOW. In this very effective animated video by Leo Murray and friends at the Royal College of Art, the message is that we are at a critical point in history but we still have the chance to make a positive difference. Although Leo says on his website, ‘I am not a scientist, I’m an animator’, he manages to explain the science behind global warming clearly and simply, and to illustrate exactly what is meant by the ‘tipping point’.
The film is 11 minutes long, so get yourself a cup of tea, make yourself comfortable, and please do take the time to watch it right through.
